1. Brief Introduction
Pre-filter is also called mechanical separator, which is used to remove liquid and solid in gas. It belongs to pre-filtration and pre-separation equipment. There are three kinds of type—tubular cyclone, mist demister, vane.
Tubular cyclone separator is to remove liquid and solid under the function of centrifugal force with low pressure drop and large processing volume, high efficiency.
Mist demister is high efficiency equipment for gas-liquid separation.
Separator baffle is used to separate liquid with special vane type.
Due to the inertial action of fog droplets rising, fog droplets collide with the screen and are attached to the surface of the wire mesh. It is nearly no any fog after the gas passes through the mist demister.
Vane is special device to capture the droplet which is regarded as ideal internal for large amount liquid separation.
